Leicester -

Description

The verges on the A46 between the A6 and the Anstey junction at the A 563, in both directions, in Leicestershire, are absolutely disgusting. The litter is everywhere, from the road side up into the hedges and trees at the side of the road. I am aware that the Highways bodies are unable to clean up due to covid, but there is an extraordinary amount of litter on the roadside. It seemed to suddenly appear during January. I mentioned it to someone else, who said they had seen it too and thought it looked as though someone has driven along there and thrown rubbish out of a moving vehicle. Sorry I do not have any photos as I am driving along there, on my own, so not able to take photos
