I would like to report a safety concern regarding the parking area on Ranoch Close.
A large amount of fallen leaves has accumulated in the parking bay and has remained there since last year, possibly even longer. The leaves are decomposing and, particularly after rainfall, the surface becomes extremely slippery and hazardous. This creates a significant risk of slips and falls for residents and visitors using the parking area.
In addition, the retaining walls designed to prevent soil from spilling onto the parking area are damaged and broken in several places. As a result, soil is falling onto the car park, and during wet weather this creates muddy conditions, further increasing the risk of accidents. These retaining walls appear to require repair or replacement.
I would be grateful if someone could attend the site to inspect the situation and arrange for the area to be cleaned and the necessary repairs carried out as soon as possible.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing what action will be taken to address these concerns.
Yours faithfully,-1-7 Rannoch Close, Leicester, UK
