The divider strips used on the new shared use pedestrian/cycle path through the park in Newfoundpool are dangerous. I caught the front wheel of my bicycle on a strip and it caused my handlebars to twist and I was thrown onto the tarmac. The impact caused me a brief concussion and left me with grazes on my forearm, thigh and knee. The strips should be removed and replace with the usual painted line. -Forest Way Footbridge, Fosse Road North, Leicester, UK
