Dear Leicester City Council,<br/><br/>I would like to raise a concern regarding the lack of clear road markings at the Red Hill Roundabout on Loughborough Road.<br/><br/>Currently, there are no visible lane markings to guide drivers on the correct lane usage. This is causing confusion and unsafe driving behavior.<br/><br/>To improve safety and traffic flow, I suggest the following:<br/><br/>- The right lane should be clearly marked for vehicles heading towards:<br/> <br/> - A6 (Loughborough)<br/> - Ring Road A563 East<br/> - Melton Mowbray<br/><br/>- The left lane should be clearly marked for vehicles heading towards:<br/> <br/> - Abbey Lane<br/> - M1 / M69<br/> - A6 (as appropriate)<br/><br/>At present, there are frequent instances where drivers in the right lane incorrectly move towards Abbey Lane, which can lead to sudden lane changes and potential accidents.<br/><br/>Clear road markings would greatly help drivers choose the correct lane in advance and reduce confusion at this busy roundabout.<br/><br/>I hope the council can look into this matter and consider adding appropriate lane markings as soon as possible.<br/><br/>Thank you for your attention.
