There is no pedestrian crossing on the south side of this very busy and dangerous junction. It been like this for a long time now, yet there always used to be one at this part of the crossroads. It is extremely hazardous for anyone walking to town or out, and especially for elderly & children. I have reported this many times, and will be contacting local councillor, and the Leicester Mercury. I am reporting a dangerous uneven pavement defect outside Chadrasons on 252 melton road, Leicester. The paving slabs at this location are uneven, creating a clear trip hazard for pedestrians. On 24/2/26 a 74-year-old pedestrian tripped on the uneven paving at this spot and fell forward, sustaining injuries that required attendance at Accident & Emergency. The defect appears longstanding and presents a particular risk to older or vulnerable pedestrians. Please inspect and make location safe-Nazar, 252 Melton Road, Leicester, LE4 7PG
