I have had multiple near misses whilst exiting Highcross John Lewis Car Park in this area. The bushes and shrubs are so overgrown, that people continuing straight down Burgess Street do not slow down or stop, because they cannot see the vehicles exiting the car park. If anything, I ensure I take the bend slowly, in anticipation of vehicles that may not have seen me coming round the bend, after exiting the car park. There is a give way, so people travelling down Burgess Street should be coming to a stop or pausa to check the road is clear, however, they often do not, and the overgrown bushes and shrubs simply worsen this. If I have an accident at this location, I will be claiming from Leicester City Council, because visibility is massively reduced due to the bushes and shrubs. They need trimming down immediately, as this is a dangerous and urgent hazard.
