I would like to report an ongoing parking problem on Upperton Road, Leicester, outside Westend Motors & Tyres Upperton Road and the neighbouring photography shop.

Vehicles regularly park on the double yellow lines outside these businesses, particularly during the daytime. This happens repeatedly and is not an isolated incident.

The vehicles obstruct access to my property and make it difficult, and sometimes impossible, for me to get my car into the parking area in front of my house.

I have reported parking problems in this area previously, but unfortunately the situation has not improved.

I regularly see parking enforcement officers in the neighbouring street, but I rarely see them on Upperton Road, despite the ongoing parking problems here. I would therefore ask the Parking Enforcement Team to include Upperton Road in their regular patrols, particularly during the daytime when the problem occurs most frequently.

Please could this location be monitored and appropriate enforcement action taken when vehicles are found to be parked in contravention of the restrictions?-Flat, 49-51 Upperton Road, Leicester, LE3 0BH

While speaking to parking enforcement about the cars parked outside shops in the 100% pedestrian area in front of bede park they said they cannot do anything because there's no double yellows etc. He said they drive up there amongst the pedestrians and through the pedestrian crossing because the bollard has been smashed off. (See photo) there's also a missing bollard in front of dominoes so the squeeze through there too. PLEASE can you send someone to access. Thank you
