Can you clarify whether parking in a way that obstructs pedestrian pavements is illegal? Vehicles blocking the pavement force children, disabled people, wheelchair users, and parents with pushchairs into the road and into oncoming traffic, creating a serious safety risk. Parking Enforcement Officers regularly walk past these vehicles without taking any enforcement action or issuing penalty notices. Could you explain why this is happening and what action will be taken to address it? If this type of parking is not illegal or cannot be enforced, perhaps the Council should consider removing the bollards altogether. While this would not be an ideal solution, it would at least allow vehicles to park fully on the road rather than partially on the pavement, improving safety for pedestrians and reducing the need for vulnerable road users to step into traffic.-119 Mere Road, Leicester, UK

Since notice May 2026 we have not been able to get any Satellite signal due to an overgrown tree/branches which is blocking the single which Sky have confirmed. I am paying for a service which my disabled vulnerable mum cannot use and we do not have live TV. This is disrupting the single from the dish. I would like to report an ongoing issue with waste being left outside the shop on the corner of Osmaston Road and Glossop Street.

The business is leaving commercial rubbish and domestic waste, including a large white fridge freezer, on the public street. The rubbish continues to build up and has not been properly disposed of, making the street look untidy and creating an eyesore for local residents and pedestrians.

I would be grateful if this matter could be investigated and appropriate action-1 Osmaston Road, Leicester, LE5 5JF
