The business is based next door to an Independent School. We see the business equipment all piled up outside their building and on the public footpath. The business has large black iron gates which are not securely shut and they swing in/out in windy weather. The Business often leave items out on the public footpath which leaves very little safe space for the general public to safely walk past. People with pushchairs, wheelchairs cannot safely walk by, leaving them to pass by using the road which becomes a huge safety hazard. Even when the business has no items outside they leave debris and unwanted items on the footpath making it a hazard for children and parents to walk through. -51-52 Rolleston Street, Leicester, UK

The lady lives at 39 clifton Road LE2 8AA. She has a dog and she does not take her dog for a walk and lets her dog poo in the alleyway. Because of this, we put a sign on the wall to not let your dog poo. Despite this, she ignores it and lets her dog poo there. Opposite Ripon Street is the old KIA garage premises. Some new occupants have moved into this trade premises and have the large trade bins that are constantly left out on the road. Currently there is one left out on the road outside their premises on Ripon Street. The trade bin has been outside for over 2 weeks now and it is overflowing with rubbish that is now littering the street. Please could somebody look into this. Hello, I hope you’re well. I’m writing to report an ongoing issue with improper waste disposal taking place at the flats on York Street (near our property). Residents from these flats have been regularly dumping loose rubbish bags on the pavement next to our designated bins, rather than using their own waste collection facilities. Because of this, Biffa has refused to collect our commercial waste, stating that the additional domestic bin bags placed around the bins are not part of our scheduled collection and fall outside of their responsibility. As a result, our rubbish is not being collected, which is now leading to: Waste piling up in a public area Increase in litter spreading across the street Bad odours and potential pest problems Unfair blame placed on us despite the issue originating from the neighbouring flats We have done our best to manage our waste correctly and ensure everything is contained inside the bins provided. However, we are now at a point where the situation is affecting our business operations and the cleanliness of the street. We are requesting the council’s support with: Investigating and identifying the flats responsible for the dumped domestic rubbish. Providing enforcement, signage, notices, or fines if necessary to prevent further misuse. Helping us reinstate regular rubbish collection from Biffa by confirming that we are not responsible for the loose rubbish. I have attached the photos. Thank you for taking this seriously.
