This stretch of Fosse Road South is regularly used by HGV vehicles parking overnight on the pavement. This causes both safety issues for vehicles attempting to pull into Fosse Road from both Winton Avenue and Harlaxton Street. This stretch of Fosse Road South is regularly used by HGV vehicles parking overnight on the pavement. I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding the parking situation in our area, specifically on It has come to my attention that there are numerous vehicles parked on the pavements on both sides of the street, creating significant difficulties for pedestrians as a result of this parking situation. Counted 11 illegally parked vehicles yesterday just down one end of Abingdon road past arbour court and beyond. This has been going on too long , pavement is difficult to walk along and inaccessible for pushchair and wheelchair much of the time, cars on double yellow lines and across entrances. on Brighton road always parks customers cars like this. We use the cul de sac to come in and out and have had near misses on cars as we can't see from the right and have to pull out to be able to drive out. This has been going on for years and years. Plus they park on the grass. There used to be a pole to restrict parking on the grass which obstructs us plus people with push chairs and disability scooters.
