Absence of recycling bins, and inadequate bin capacity repeatedly leads to rubbish strewn across the park (other obvious factors) obviously. Team here working to clear park, but also mowers, chopping up recyclables in their path. Seems daft, counter productive and risky. Have observed this several times before. Any thoughts about allowing clearance before mowing maybe, though ideally improved public behaviour and better capacity bins would reduce need for clearance.-Victoria Park Road, Leicester

The walkway opposite the school is absolutely littered with beer cans and glass bottles left by the labourers who are working at the construction site. It is in an absolutely vile and horrid state, these construction workers should be fined for leaving so many empty alcohol bottles and cans on the pavement. There is also smashed glass because of their litter.-336 Harrison Road, Leicester, LE4 7AB
