We’re working on a resolution. This issue has occurred on land over which Leicester City Council does not have direct authority. This means we may need to use enforcement action to get the result we want. These situations can take longer to resolve than the more straightforward issues we deal with, possibly 8 weeks or longer. 26/06/2026 11:44 Due to unforeseen delays weed treatment in the city will begin on June 8th 2026, the treatment should be completed weather permitting by the 12th of July Usually after successful treatment there is noticeable die off after 8-12 days, Cleansing Services will be monitoring and acting on weed growth that are hazards on the highway. Someone has supposedly come to repair the section of Hillsborough Rd where the school and children's center is. Every single speed hump needs redoing. They are already not filled in. I am sick of having to get my tracking realigned as the quality of the whole road is so terrible. The speed bumps are also pointless as it doesn't slow down the kids on mopeda and motorbikes.
