Over grown hedge at number 32, it is impossible to walk past with a pushchair or wheel chair especially worse when his car or van is parked there, it leaves you to walk on the road on a bend which people speed up and down it is very dangerous. We’re working on a resolution. This issue has occurred on land over which Leicester City Council does not have direct authority. This means we may need to use enforcement action to get the result we want. These situations can take longer to resolve than the more straightforward issues we deal with, possibly 8 weeks or longer. Mostly a challenge for vehicles on Watkin trying to join other side (Narborough) to go towards western boulevard/Jarrom/Walnut. There is yellow junction but many times there is car on it. The issue happens because they don’t know when is the Watkin light turning green and traffic will come out. Currently no signal light for traffic coming from walnut towards Narborough. There is a light before the traffic turns into Watkin and not from where Watkin traffic comes out. Solution is placement of a s-58 Sage Road, Leicester, LE2 7ES

Issue relates to a van blocking access for the emergency service. I understand there is a law that requires all properties to have full access to the emergency service (emergency services act 2026) and as you can see from that picture I’ve attached they clearly can’t get through.
