I would like to report an ongoing issue in our area. For the past few days, someone has been leaving their bins out on the street to reserve a parking space. The bins are often left there for several hours during the day, obstructing parking and causing inconvenience to others.

Could you please look into this matter and take appropriate action?

Very irresponsible female driver thinking she has authority to park the WHOLE car on the pavement. Kids were coming out and the car became such a liability in terms of safety and a nuisance. The female sat inside the car and was oblivious. On top of that facing the wrong way against the traffic.

The Council wastebin emptying vehicle is driving across the grass between bins. At this location the tracks created have destroyed the grass, creating muddy ruts.

The muddy ruts are in a steep slope and are very slippy for pedestrians. It is highly likely that this will lead to trips and falls potentially causing injury.

Please ask the wastebin emptying staff to use the concrete road adjacent to drive up the hill to reduce rutting in the grass or to empty the bin by Glenfield Rd next to Christ-Oak House, Western Park, Hinckley Road, Leicester, LE3 6HX

The digital speed sign adjacent to Christ the King school appears to be functioning incorrectly.

When a vehicle passes at less than 30 mph it shows their speed and flashes ‘Slow Down’. This is unnecessary because the vehicle already is travelling below the speed limit.

When a vehicle passes at more than 30 mph sometimes the sign flashes ‘30’ and sometimes no speed is shown. ‘Slow Down’ is also shown in these cases.

Whatever the intended configuration of the sign is, it is not giving sensibl-West Gate School, Glenfield Road, Leicester, LE3 6DG
