Near the cafe in abbey park where the river is with the little waterfall, I saw a duck/swan struggling to move. I was sitting there with my friend for a good 3/4 hours and it couldn’t move. It tried moving lots of times in different directions but it couldn’t. It seems as though its legs were trapped in something. This was yesterday evening (15/08/26). It was located at the top of the waterfall area near to the grass area/gate. Please can the duck be saved otherwise it will die. The river itself looks dirty with a lot of green covering it. SERIOUS ISSUE - on street outdoor GAS metering and regulating (M&R) station or meter regulating station (MRS) located near the children's play area is housed inside a brick enclosure but the wooden panel doors has a huge whole,where if you peer inside there is a lot of litter accumulating! I would regard this as a very serious hazard because children won't know it to be a gas station and there might even be valves that they can meddle with.
