The owner of the land adjacent to this footpath has cut back the hedges that run alongside, and the footpath is now covered with broken nettles, thorny branches and other hazardous material. If a small child slipped and fell on the thorny branches, or a dog pricked a paw on these, it could lead to nasty injuries. There are also hazards to motorised wheelchair users, which might lead to tyre damage. There might be some who see this footpath as council property and will go into litigation mode (not me!), so it would probably be wise to clear this refuse up sooner rather than later. Also, the whole of Churchbell Way (or Churchill as it says on the map - which is right?) has a problem with really big nettles. For those such as myself who react quite badly to nettle stings, while the team is there clearing up the mess, they could do their annual cut-back. Hoping you can sort this swiftly.
