ref - Job Code4851972 which has been closed

Can we check that the council has no objections to parking on the pavements and making it impossible for pedestrians to use the footpath? I am genuinely concerned and would like to clarify the council position in relation to this.

Ref the dangerous situation of this road are there any plans to reapply the road markings which have worn away, these being reapplied would help a little with the situation?

Is there any intention to review and try and improve safety in this area which has been highlighted hopefully before an incident occurs as pedestrians are unable to use the footpaths. There is a high volume of parent and toddlers at 3 peak times daily for the nursery and school age minors us this route to access the educational centre on Robinson Road, all of these pedestrians have to walk in the road not to mention any wheels chair users as they cannot use the footpath.-Coleman Road, Leicester LE5 4LE, UK

The green on the corner of rosshill crescent and st Austell road is covered in dog excrement - there are at least 6 piles. It’s a large dog and I believe the authority already know of this owner who I understand lives in the flats is st Austell. The owner makes no attempt to clean up after his large bully type dog and is brazen about it. It’s time something was done now. This isn’t the first time I have reported the issue of fouling with this dog-3 Rosshill Crescent, Leicester, LE5 2RE

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to request clarification regarding the ownership and maintenance responsibility of the shared side entry between numbers 36 and 38 Bolton Road, Leicester, LE3 6AB.

This entry provides rear access to multiple properties, including my own at 40 Bolton Road, and is currently obstructed by overgrown vegetation and other items, making it difficult or impossible to use as intended. As the neighbours involved are unwilling to take responsibility for the maintenance, I need to determine whether the shared entry is:

Adopted and maintained by Leicester City Council,
Recorded as a public right of way, or
Privately owned and subject to shared maintenance agreements.

Could you please advise:

Whether the side access between 36–38 Bolton Road is part of the adopted highway network or maintained by the council?
If it is not council-maintained, whether it is a recorded public right of way or registered easement?
Any information you hold about ownership, maintenance responsibility, or enforcement options for clearing overgrowth and obstructions?

If possible, I would appreciate a copy of any maps, records, or guidance relating to this area.

Please contact me at 07766165861or sashahorder95@yahoo.com

if you need any further information.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Yours faithfully,-36 Bolton Road, Leicester, LE3 6AB

On Wyvern Avenue, just opposite the number 4 bus stop and near the William Hill bookies, too many cars and vans keep parking on the pavement which means it is a challenge for children walking to school in the morning or back home in the afternoon. It’s becoming quite a hazard as the vehicles make it difficult to see if any other cars are parking on the pavements and has meant they are sometimes walking on the road. I have also seen some people who are in their electric wheelchairs having to go on the road because the parked cars have used the pavement instead. There are two concrete bollards on part of the pavement but before that there’s a lot of space which people just seem to park their cars full on the pavement and not on the curb. Is there any way we can prevent or restrict this?-4 Wyvern Avenue, Leicester, LE4 7HF
