I was coming down church gate on my bike from the clock tower. When approaching the junction there are no markings to indicate who should give way. With the hill I had built up some speed and then had to break quite suddenly as a van shot out of Mansfield street onto St Peter’s Lane. I regularly cycle down watermead way however the hedges and bushes are growing at a rapid rate causing me to often swerve to avoid. They have overgrown into the cycle lane and over the double lines .This is extremely dangerous, particularly on a 50mph road-85 Oakland Avenue, Leicester, LE4 7SG

I was on the bus back home when I noticed a dead animal that looked like a dog. The fur was white and beige. The face wasn't clear, but it wasn't moving and flies were swarming around the corpse. The corpse was in a green grass on the side of the road. There is a walkway few steps away.
