Twenty minutes before this photo was taken, Civil Enforcement Officers had cleared this area of about twenty cars. When the CEOs moved on, the drivers came back. This is the result. This image shows TEN motor vehicles Illegally driving and illegally parked on the Granby Street Pedestrian and Cycle Zone that is between Northampton Street and St Georges Way. This pedestrian and cycle zone has become a cruising strip for drivers and is a very dangerous place for pedestrians and people on bicycles. The road traffic signs make it clear that driving and parking motor vehicles is illegal on this section of Granby Street between 9am and 5am (Sat) and 11am and 5am (Sun-Fri).
