I am concerned that the building work taking place at 1 Skelton Drive may be causing debris to fall into Saffron Brook which could damage this fragile ecosystem. This includes a sheet of what looks from a distance as though it could be asbestos roofing material. I know that undisturbed asbestos is not harmful but would be reassured to know that there is not more of this or other materials finding their way into the Brook. Some council operatives came to fix a loose slab a few days ago, it had been loose for quite some time. They have fixed the slab but there is a water leak from the slab they fixed. The water you see in the photos has been there for a few days, since they fixed the slab.
