I’d like to report a long‑term build‑up of rubbish at the property at 13 Gretna Way, LE5 2PQ. The front garden and side entry have had waste left for several years. Items include:

- A tall fridge freezer
- A flat‑screen TV
- Numerous refuse bags containing general waste and clothing
- An old aluminium basketball hoop stand
- Other assorted household rubbish

The waste is visible from the street and has been present for a long time. It is unsightly and may attract vermin. -13 Gretna Way, Leicester, LE5 2PQ

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to request clarification regarding the road markings at the junction of Breedon Street, Dale Street, and Berners Street, following a recent car accident.
There are "Give Way" road markings on Breedon Street for traffic turning towards Dale Street. However, I could not see any "Give Way" markings for vehicles turning from Breedon Street onto Berners Street.
Could you please clarify who has priority in the following situation?
A vehicle travelling along Breedon Street and turning onto Berners Street.
A vehicle travelling from the one-way section of Berners Street and continuing onto the two-way section of Berners Street.
I would appreciate your clarification on which vehicle has the right of way at this junction, as this information is important in understanding the circumstances of the accident.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. I look forward to your response.
Kind regards-11 Breedon Street, Leicester, LE2 0FG

The grassed area behind Woodhall Close and off Brookdale Road at one time used to be looked after on a regular basis by the Council, not now. All that seems to be done is the grassed mown. Yesterday, late afternoon (Wednesday 1st and the previous day) two lads were seen breaking up the tree trunks that have been placed either end of this grassed area (many years ago) and setting fire to them. The fire brigade did attend yesterday at around 4.45 p.m. I'm sure this will not be the last time that these lads try this.
The old tree trunks need to be replaced with something more sturdy and the trees and shrubs along the back of the houses are in need of some pruning.
Can you please arrange for someone to come and look at this area before something more serious happens i.e. setting fire to the whole area.
I have been trying to call the Council this morning but cannot get through as it is extremely busy ........... to be honest I would much rather talk to someone but this does not seem possible as no one will answer the phone.
