I am writing to report an issue concerning litter on Gleneagles Avenue, where bottles, and other rubbish have accumulated along the pavement and side of the road. It’s creating an unpleasant environment and hygiene concern for residents. Could you please arrange for a clean up and also be grateful if this area could be monitored more regularly. Bags of household waste dumped near electricity substation on City end of Falconer Walk. This is a repeated issue in the alleyway. These streets have not been cleaned for weeks and it getting worse. The lack of cleaning will make it more difficult as some of the rubbish is ground into the pavement. When will this be done and why is it not being done regularly? Two commercial delivery vans linked to residents at property regularly park across dropped kerbs along the road that are not their driveway. This obstructs other residents from safely exiting drives, restricts visibility, slows traffic and could hinder emergency or delivery vehicle access. Parking across a dropped kerb without permission may breach the Highway Code and Traffic Management Act 2004.
