Reporting of general concern, not reporting due to offence caused in the current moment. Please send concern to relevant dept if this is not the correct contact point.

I am writing to report that vehicles are regularly parking across, or partially blocking my dropped kerb at clarendon park road, LE2 3AG which provides access to my driveway.

This is causing ongoing inconvenience and makes it difficult and sometimes unsafe for me to enter and exit my property. I have been late for work and medical appointments on occasions due to obstructions.

I have attached photos showing incidents on the following dates and times, however I haven’t really observed a particular time pattern, it can happen very randomly.

10am -18/11/25
10am- 15/11/25

I will continue to gather more photos for further offences observed.

As this appears to be a recurring issue, could you please advise what enforcement measures can be taken, and whether targeted patrols can be arranged on this side of the road? For instance, if offending vehicles observed on patrols could be sanctioned, this would be a deterrence.

I would be grateful for any assistance you can provide in helping to reduce the obstruction and ensure safe exit from the driveway, to avoid any conflict.

Sometimes drivers are completely blocking the driveway, and on most occasions drivers park so close to the dropped kerb, that I am unable to reverse out in a single, safe movement. I am forced to manoeuvre back and forth to avoid their vehicle, which is both inconvenient and unsafe. Access to my driveway should allow me to exit in a single smooth arc, but the way vehicles are parking is preventing this.

When an offence is happening when I need to leave my driveway, if I am not sure who the given car belongs to, I will call the relevant council number for action-however I wanted a preventative way to manage this, so I don’t keep facing this problem moving forward. The last thing I want to do, it to have to call because a car is obstructing my exit, in a moment where I am having to leave. -244 Clarendon Park Road, Leicester, LE2 3AG

Urgent concern regarding the condition
of the roadside in our area. The edges
of the roads have not been cleaned for
some time, and debris has accumulated
to the point where it poses a serious
risk of blocking the drainage system.lf
left unattended, this could lead to
significant blockages, especially during
heavy rainfall, potentially causing
flooding and damage to public and
private property. I urge the council to
take immediate action to clean the
roadside and ensure the drains remain
clear-56 Coleman Road, Leicester, LE5 4AD
