We would like to kindly request if the grass at Bushy Park, Kamloops Crescent, Leicester LE1 2HX, could be cut and maintained ahead of our upcoming Eid ul-Adha community event taking place on 27th May 2026. We are expecting a large number of attendees, including families and children, and having the grass sorted beforehand would greatly help with health, safety and accessibility during the event. This was raised 279days ago and closed due to scheduled works. No works have been completed at this point and the tree now over hangs 1/3rd of the garden. No further communication received. (Original Submission - Tree in alley way is excessively overgrown and overhanging garden, and continually drops leaves into garden of an elderly person with mobility issues. Hi. Thank you for attending to the issue i reported on 18/05/26 . However the street lights are still not working i.e near hse no.1 Larchwood close and opposite 273 pendlebury drive/ next to hse no . .288. I saw some men work on them but the lights never came on. I am writing regarding the lamppost directly outside my property, which was knocked down in a car accident. The police and emergency council crews have already been to the scene to make it safe, cut down the column, isolated the wiring, and cordoned off the area. I am aware that the council's highway contractors will soon be scheduled to visit the site to excavate the damaged tarmac, remove the destroyed concrete base, and install a new lamppost. Because the ground must be entirely dug up and a completely new foundation poured anyway, I would like to request that the replacement lamppost be installed directly on the boundary line between my property and my neighbour's property No 4. Shifting the replacement post to this central boundary line will ensure it does not obstruct the future driveway. Please pass this to the Street Lighting supervisor and installation contractor as an urgent matter so this adjustment can be reviewed before the new concrete foundation is poured. -2 Kincaple Road, Leicester, LE4 7YD

This issue has been reported before. The issue is with a manhole cover being loose, very noisy when they run over it. It is on the new Parks Way. This has been like this for several weeks. It disturbs sleep. Currently unable to sleep with the window open which is going to be a problem over the next few days with the weather warming up. also currently having to spend 24 hours a day in a front bedroom due to an injury so this does not help with relaxation which would help with getting better.-New Parks Boulevard, Leicester LE3 9PU, UK

I would like to report the overgrown bushes and vegetation opposite my house. The area has become very untidy and is causing problems for my family and neighbours. Because of the excessive overgrowth, many insects are coming into my house, and foxes are also entering the area. I have a 6-month-old baby at home, so this is becoming a health and safety concern for us.
