Dear Leicester City Council,

I would like to raise a concern regarding the lack of clear road markings at the Red Hill Roundabout on Loughborough Road.

Currently, there are no visible lane markings to guide drivers on the correct lane usage. This is causing confusion and unsafe driving behavior.

To improve safety and traffic flow, I suggest the following:

- The right lane should be clearly marked for vehicles heading towards:

  - A6 (Loughborough)
  - Ring Road A563 East
  - Melton Mowbray

- The left lane should be clearly marked for vehicles heading towards:

  - Abbey Lane
  - M1 / M69
  - A6 (as appropriate)

At present, there are frequent instances where drivers in the right lane incorrectly move towards Abbey Lane, which can lead to sudden lane changes and potential accidents.

Clear road markings would greatly help drivers choose the correct lane in advance and reduce confusion at this busy roundabout.

I hope the council can look into this matter and consider adding appropriate lane markings as soon as possible.

Thank you for your attention.-Loughborough Road, Leicester, UK

Whoever used the football pitch last on Sunday 12th April littered the pitch and around with water bottles and coffee cups. I took more photos but the report only allows 3. The rubbish went all round the pitch. It was the pitch next to the path and closest to the queens road crossing.-1 Victoria Gardens, 36 Victoria Park Road, Leicester, LE2 1XB
