Streetlight in front of 80 lamborne road is out for weeks now. This is very dangerous as it is a junction and multiple accident have previously occurred like a car going into a house or even my own car was smashed into. Most cars come really fast on this toad as it is wide due to being a bus route. There are a lot of elderly neighbours and I'm concerned for their safety and also crime rates as it is pitch black due to broken streetlight.-80 Lamborne Road, Leicester, UK

My sister who lives on Norfolk Street, recently picked up two large white rubber gloves and put them in a bin nearby (on 3rd August 2026) white powder was also on the floor near to the gloves. A carer or nurse (or possibly a drug taker) is not disposing of the gloves properly. They could be classed as hazardous to health because nobody is aware of what these gloves are being used for? This has been an ongoing problem re the dropping of rubber gloves near to the Norfolk House Residential Home for the past couple of years. Another concerning issue is the problem of an infestation of rats at Norfolk House. Marjorie was informed that the infestation has not yet been resolved. A tenant who lives at Norfolk House informed my sister that due to financial issues the council had not completed the job satisfactorily. The tenant also informed Marjorie that rats have been damaging his kitchen cupboards and eating food within these cupboards - this is shocking that people, especially old people at the end of their lives have to live like this.
