I am concerned that the building work taking place at 1 Skelton Drive may be causing debris to fall into Saffron Brook which could damage this fragile ecosystem. This includes a sheet of what looks from a distance as though it could be asbestos roofing material. I know that undisturbed asbestos is not harmful but would be reassured to know that there is not more of this or other materials finding their way into the Brook. Hi, a mattress, glass bottles, beer cans, food and other detritis has been dumped on the wall next to 1, Gibbons Close, Leicester, which is next to the fire exit wall. The rubbish is behind a 3ft parapet/wall that surrounds the car park. The car park has a perimeter wall that covers 3 sides of it. There is also rubbish dumped in the walled section covering the other 2 sides of the car park. As they're hidden in the compost area I suggest they're collected next time rubbish bins are emptied?
