A road surface on Rowlatts Hill Road (parallel to Wicklow Drive) is very uneven which bangs and damage the car and tyre very badly. Also since the humps are installed, people who used to use that road have now preferred to use the main road i.e Green Lane and Wicklow Drive Road which creates more traffic issue and wear and tear of the road. More fly-tipping. Last week's pile was cleared on Tuesday and by Wednesday this pile had appeared. Am quite sure it's students from New Walk accommodation as I have watched them coming and going. I have written to the company repeatedly which owns this student accommodation - "Hello Students." Their tenants have committed numerous criminal offences over the last two weeks and the Police should be involved for this repeated fly-tipping. I suspect many of them are international students who don't understand that street bins are for everyday litter and not household waste. If successfully prosecuted for fly-tipping under the Environmental Protection Act 1990, they could face the cancellation of their Tier 4 student visas, and either a 5-year prison sentence or an unlimited fine.-Flat 1, 140-142 New Walk, Leicester, LE1 7JL
