I have concerns that the butchers at the top of Francis st. are permanently blocking the pavement with 3 commercial bins, a black one with an orange lid, a blue one and a green one with a blue lid. They are not only blocking the pavement but I suspect have some unpleasant by products from the shop waste - one week there was a pungent black liquid leaking that has permanently stained the tarmac. I would expect that these 3 commercial bins should be kept on their property and only put out on collection days, but I understand that they have made an enclosure where the bins should be stored and this area is now used for something like smoking meat, even though it is only semi-enclosed. None of this seems quite acceptable to me, is it?.-Shop, 2 Francis Street, Leicester, LE2 2BD

There is building related waste and material on the road outside 39 Grove Road. The amount of materials: wood, sand, bricks etc. fluctuates on an ongoing basis but this has been ongoing for a long time now. Sometimes wheelie bins are also being used to block more of the road to reserve it for a big white van that pulls up as and when it pleases. The debris is not being stored/disposed correctly. Once again ( as per every week) all the bins for the flats on corner of Newmarket Street have been left on the street, litter is over flowing out of them and they are blocking pavements. This happens every week. All other residents on the street are required to bring there bins in, so what makes the residents of the flats any different -Gilliver Street, Leicester
