There is a privately owned parcel of land adjacent to residential properties in Humberstone that has become severely overgrown and appears unmanaged. The extent of the vegetation is affecting both the pavement and the roadway, creating a blind spot for motorists when turning the corner and raising concerns about public safety. Residents are also concerned about the potential fire risk posed by the volume of unmanaged vegetation, particularly during periods of dry weather. There have previously been concerns regarding vermin associated with the site, and the continued lack of maintenance is causing concern within the local community. I would be grateful if the council could investigate whether any action can be taken and advise the landowner of their responsibilities.
